The
Incredibles (2005)
Introduction
Pixar’s The Incredibles is a recent
example of computer-generated 3-D animation about the secret lives
of a house full of superheroes. The plot offers a commentary on
contemporary society along with entertaining characters and plenty
of action Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) and his wife Helen (Elastigirl)
used to be among the world’s greatest crime fighters. However,
the world turned against superheroes, and as the lawsuits mounted,
the government forced all heroes to adopt civilian identities and
retreat to live in the suburbs. Fifteen years later, Bob is lured
back into action and depends upon his family to help save the world.

Animator Brad Bird Brad Bird
is known as one the most talented directors working in animation.
He first gained fame as the co-writer and director for The Iron
Giant, a great example of the fading technique of hand-drawn
animation. This movie had a strong story and deeply heartfelt characters
which give animated films the most strength. He has also helped manage
the artistic production of such television series as The Simpsons
and King Of The Hill, teaching animators how to make the
most of their medium. Pixar Studios realized his talent and hired
Brad Bird to develop one of his stories entitled The Incredibles.
